What is Festival of Trees?

The Festival of Trees at the Buttonwoods is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Buttonwoods Museum in Haverhill, MA. The fundraiser lasts two weeks from the last weekend in November until the second weekend in December. This year is the 20th anniversary and we are excited to get back to our usual schedule of events featuring our Holiday Gala on December 4 and Santa visits on on Family Day and more! We will continue to follow guidelines from state and local authorities in regards to the COVD-19 virus.

 

Our Festival may not be as big as other Festival of Trees in the area, but every year we have a great selection of trees, wreaths and centerpieces that are donated by generous individuals and companies that are raffled off at the end of the Festival. Many people have told us that our Festival of Trees is more enjoyable and not as overwhelming or “cold” like the other festivals. Having our Festival in the museum helps to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels more like Christmas. We hope you come visit and experience it yourself!

Raffles

Each of the trees, wreaths and centerpieces are raffled off at the end of the Festival on December 12, 2021. Winners will be contacted by phone and given instructions on when to pick up their winnings. Raffle tickets are sold at the entrance of the Festival for $1 each, 6 for $5, and 25 for $20. 

Silent Auction

We have a silent auction with some amazing items that are generously donated by individuals and companies in the area. Auction winners will be notified on December 12, 2021 and instructed on how to pick up and pay for the item they bid on. If you would like to donate an item to the silent auction, please email FOT@buttonwoods.org to arrange a day and time to drop off your item. This year, due to the pandemic, you will also be able to make bids through our Facebook page.
